Cryptic Vector Celebrates Opening of New Springboro Facility, Expanding Ohio’s Role in National Defense Innovation
SPRINGBORO, Ohio – June 9, 2026 – Cryptic Vector today celebrated the opening of its newest facility with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking a significant investment in Ohio’s growing role as a center of excellence for national security, advanced engineering, and mission-focused technology development.
Located in Springboro, the new facility reflects Cryptic Vector’s continued commitment to creating high-value technical careers in Ohio while delivering critical capabilities to customers across the Department of War, Department of Justice, and Intelligence Community.
Today, Cryptic Vector employs more than 200 professionals across Ohio, supporting some of the nation’s most critical defense, intelligence, and law enforcement missions.
The facility is named in honor of Kevin Hoffer, founder of Caesar Creek Software, whose vision, leadership, and dedication to technical excellence helped establish one of the region’s premier engineering organizations. His commitment to building world-class talent and solving complex national security challenges continues to influence the company’s culture and mission today.
The new building includes 19,000 square feet of fully accredited operational space designed to support engineering, cyber operations, mission planning, collaboration, and secure program execution. An additional 19,000 square feet of expansion space has been incorporated into the design to accommodate future workforce growth, customer demand, and evolving mission requirements.
While the facility itself represents a significant milestone, company leaders emphasized that the true investment is in the people who will fill it.
“The most important asset in this building isn’t the technology – it’s the people,” said Sean Olding, CEO of Cryptic Vector. “Ohio continues to produce extraordinary talent, and we’re committed to creating an environment where those individuals can do the most meaningful work of their careers while making a direct impact on national security. This facility reflects our confidence in both the future of our company and the incredible workforce that calls this region home.”
The opening further strengthens the Dayton region’s reputation as one of the nation’s premier hubs for cyber, intelligence, and defense innovation. With its proximity to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and a deep bench of engineering and technical talent, the region plays an increasingly important role in supporting national defense priorities.
As mission demands evolve, the new facility positions the company to expand its workforce, accelerate innovation, and deepen its support of customers tasked with defending the nation’s most critical interests. The facility joins Cryptic Vector’s growing network of operations across Ohio, Georgia, Massachusetts, and Virginia and reflects the company’s confidence in Ohio’s future as a leader in national security, advanced technology, and talent development.
