Cryptic Vector Wins $900M IDIQ

Cryptic Vector has been named one of the awardees of a new $900M IDIQ contract with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC)at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. This contract will enable Cryptic Vector to provide its unique cyber and ISR capabilities in support of the warfighting capabilities needed by the US Air Force.

4th Worldwide in 2022 Hack-a-Sat Finals

Cryptic Vector continued its run of successful Hack-a-Sat competitions with back-to-back-to-back appearances in the 2022 Hack-a-Sat Finals competition. Cryptic Vector finished 2nd in America (4th in the world) in the Hack-a-Sat finals conducted on October 22-23 and hosted jointly by the United States Air Force and United States Space Force. The event consisted of a 36-hour attack and defend competition, with Cryptic Vector showcasing its skills in attacking adversaries’ satellites, exploiting vulnerabilities in remote services, and command and controlling its own satellite system.

For the second year in a row, Cryptic Vector has been named a 2022 Best Place to Work by the Cincinnati Business Courier. The nomination, and subsequent selection as a finalist, is a continued testament to the value and emphasis Cryptic Vector places on culture and ensuring a great work-life balance for employees! We’re honored to be in the running again!

Cherry Bomb SBIR Phase II Award

Cryptic Vector has won a Phase 2 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program for the US Air Force! This award will further the development and commercialization of our security-focused Chaos Engineering product, Cherry Bomb!

Cherry Bomb provides cutting edge chaos engineering techniques to highly secure systems that must not fail. With Cherry Bomb, you can continuously deliver value to the warfighter without compromising on system resilience or security.

6th Worldwide in 2021 Hack-a-Sat Finals

After back-to-back years of qualifying for the Hack-a-Sat finals hosted by the United States Air Force and United States Space Force, Cryptic Vector finished 3rd in America (6th in the world) in the Hack-a-Sat finals conducted on December 11-12. Through a 24-hour attack and defend competition, Cryptic Vector showcased its skills in attacking adversaries’ satellites, exploiting vulnerabilities in remote services, and command and controlling a satellite, all while simultaneously maintaining control of its own satellite platform.

2021 Best Place to Work Winner

Cryptic Vector was the recipient of Cincinnati Business Courier’s 2021 Best Places to Work award. It was Cryptic Vector’s first year being nominated for the award with all voting being conducted by the employees of the nominees. The award was a true testament to the value and emphasis Cryptic Vector places on culture and ensuring a great work-life balance for employees!

4th Worldwide in 2020 Hack-a-Sat Finals

After a stellar finish in the inaugural Hack-a-Sat qualifiers hosted by the United States Air Force, Cryptic Vector finished 2nd in America (4th in the world) in the Hack-a-Sat finals conducted on August 7-9. This event saw our team remotely command and control a flatsat and devise unique solutions to overcome the organizer’s challenges. After finishing top 8 among over 2,000 participants in the Hack-a-Sat qualifiers, Cryptic Vector solidified itself in the upper echelons of space hackers with a 4th place finish worldwide.
